Two legs, two trackers
An order from abroad travels in two parts. Abroad, a postal service or a logistics company such as Cainiao (AliExpress's) carries it to Israel. Here, Israel Post or a courier such as Exelot or Cheetah takes over for the last leg, and your order page names which one.
"Arrived at the postal unit" and pickup notices
When the tracker says your package reached a postal unit, it's at the branch or pickup point that will deliver it or hold it for you. If it waits for you, Israel Post or the courier sends a notice, usually a text, saying where to collect it. A package that owes import VAT waits for that payment first; our tax rules guide explains when.
